Our weight loss surgery patients and our team meet regularly to provide you the strength and support needed to adjust to life after surgery. The group is open to anyone considering weight loss surgery, friends, family and postoperative patients. “The Lean Team” meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month starting at 5:00 PM at Windber Place, which is located on the 5th floor of the Medical Arts building at Windber Medical Center. The first hour is an informal social gathering for patients. At 6:00 PM, we begin our presentation for that month.

- For patients; Get support and information from other patients and our team on how to achieve and maintain weight loss.

- For anyone interested; You are welcome to attend our support group meetings to meet and mingle with our patient’s who have either undergone the LAP-Band procedure or are in the pre-operative process.

- For friends and family; Learn more about how you can support your loved ones on their successful weight loss journey.
